1. Container with antioxidant coating By
covalently attaching nitroxide to the inner surface of a container,
such as a glass vial, protection against oxidative damage is
provided. The company is interested in licensing this technology.
2. Cartridge filter for removal of reactive
oxygen species (ROS) SynZyme has developed a proprietary
cartridge filter, with a luer lock inlet and outlet, containing a
matrix upon which a nitroxide is immobilized. This filter-type
cartridge may be used to remove oxygen-derived reactive species
while solutions pass through the cartridge.
